Download Tuya Smart
Use the buttons above to install the app.

Create Account & Sign In
Open the app and register with your email.

Add Your S1
Tap "+" in the app, select "Add Device", then scan the QR code on your S1.

Connect to Wi-Fi
Follow the in-app wizard to pair your S1 via Wi-Fi (2.4GHz or 5GHz).

Need Help?

The app doesn't detect my S1 +
Make sure Bluetooth is enabled on your phone — the S1 uses Bluetooth for initial pairing. Also ensure you're within 10 feet of both the S1 and your Wi-Fi router. If it still doesn't appear, try the manual connection: tap "+" in the app → "Add Device""Camera/Lock""Mobile Camera".
Wi-Fi connection fails +
The S1 supports both 2.4GHz and 5GHz networks. Make sure you've entered the correct Wi-Fi password. If using 5GHz and it fails, try your 2.4GHz network instead. Move closer to your router during setup if needed.
The S1 won't turn on +
Press and hold the power switch on the back for a full 5 seconds. If it still won't start, place it on the charging dock for at least 30 minutes, then try again. For crashes, hold the power button for 10 seconds to force reboot.
How do I connect to a different Wi-Fi? +
Use the included card pin to press the WiFi reset hole on the back of the S1. Hold until you hear the voice prompt "Reset Wi-Fi". Then go through the app connection process again.
